Corn: Before and After

My final project for Materials and Textures class. I implemented sub-surface scattering (SSS) to a lot of the corn parts, and it turned out well. There's an odd shadow/blur that disappears over the kernels after the camera flies by, not sure what that's caused by...

 

Completed with Autodesk Maya, and a few third party UV-unwrapping tools.

Magnified Decay

Materials and textures project where I age the environment and props to a large degree while implementing a gruesome outcome as an added bit of storytelling.
